Max!!!

Standard

This is Max!! He is our new foster Papillon! We picked him up yesterday in Pleasanton. Met the wonderful couple who saved him from a shelter in Vacaville, CA where he was being dropped off to by his owner! They did not even leave his collar on when they dropped him off! Thankfully he never even had to step one foot in the shelter since he was snatched up by Ellen from Purebredsplus.org cat rescue. She has saved Papillons from shelters before for Paphaven. Thank you Ellen!!! :)

His situation is the typical scenario of “we don’t have time for him”. Well if you don’t have time for a pet then DON”T GET ONE! It’s so sad that this poor little guy spent 8 years of his life in a home that did not have time for him. He spent most of his days either crated up for 10+ hours or was left outside. Sigh……………………

Thankfully there are rescues out there to help! Paphaven who I volunteer for asked me to take him in. He is such a sweet boy! He is 8 years young and is a LOVE.

Please tell people who are considering their first pet to think first before acting! Too many animals end up in the same situation as Max. Max is lucky because he could have  had severe mental and physical  issues from what his life was like. He’s a healthy boy and is enjoying being with me and my pack right now until he gets his furever home!!!
